The Vocational Skills Accreditation Council (VSAC) of the
university is dedicated to evaluate, validate and certify the
skills of candidates gained through work experience in any
fields. The Council is formed of several experts and captains of
the industries and academics with extensive qualifications. This
expertise and verifications are carried out in conjunction with
UK Commission for Consistent Learning. The evaluation process
entails several methods; viva, work demonstration, written
submission, testimonies etc.. From the evaluation, the
candidates may receive the certification or recommended to
follow a study plan to fill the inadequate areas. The qualified
personnel from the university will satisfy both theoretical and
practical requirements of today and tomorrow’s industries.
UCHC’s qualification is not merely theory orientated but focused
mainly on the work based learning concept. This will enable UCHC
graduates not be a stranger or liability to the industry but
conversant and asset to any organizations.
The University College of Hospitality and Care is working in
collaboration with several Further Higher Educational providers
and Industrial Training Organisations and other Universities to
identify the most essential programme needed for development of
any individual. Upon identifying the programs the UCHC partner
with their affiliates and with their Independent Assessing and
Validating body UK Commission for Consistent Learning (UK-CCL)
in developing content and delivery through our network to our
candidates and professionals.
